Thomas has always loved music. Thomas is the man behind this celebratory work, which features the who’s who of the British music world. From the idea to create this project, to the lyrics, to the musicality, Thomas is at the heart of this extraordinary musical tribute to Her Majesty. On 21 April 2022, EIIR: The Platinum Record, a Jubilee Anthem was released to the public via music streaming platforms worldwide. Both songs on the album debuted at #1 and #2 on the iTunes Classical Music chart in the UK. The album debuted at #27 on the iTunes UK Top 100 Albums chart.
On 20 April, the eve of Her Majesty’s 96th birthday, Thomas hosted and presented the world-premiere performance of EIIR: The Platinum Record, A Jubilee Anthem for members of the Royal household, Lords and Members of Parliament, High Commissioners, celebrities, Royal Warrant Holders, and VIPs at The Rubens at The Palace, opposite the Royal Mews, Buckingham Palace, London. The live performance featured Lesley Garrett CBE and West End star Rodney Earl Clarke.
Bringing together National Treasure and the UK’s most well-known Soprano, Lesley Garrett CBE, Her Majesty’s Private Composer, Dr. Olga Thomas, the West End’s Les Misérables star, Rodney Earl Clarke, Britain’s Got Talent Finalists, The London Community Gospel Choir, and famed South African Opera Singer, Anton Van Der Mere, Thomas conceived and has co-written this anthem to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Improving on an idea 10 years ago in which he commissioned another anthem in celebration of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee, Thomas has now achieved chart topping accreditation with the release of his EIIR: The Platinum Record, A Jubilee Anthem.

Understanding the impression left by his Diamond Jubilee musical creation in 2012, Thomas thought that his organisation, The British Monarchists Society, could improve vastly on its musical contributions to the Platinum Jubilee of 2022, and set out to create a truly representative tapestry of sound which would engage and represent each nation that Her Majesty has touched over the past seventy years. This propelled Mace-Archer-Mills, in the winter of 2021, to reached out to his long-time friend, Crossover Classical Tenor, Composer and Producer, Anton Van Der Mere, a well-known South African vocalist and song writer, to discuss the creation of a new Jubilee Anthem for 2022, but to put 70-years of symbolism and service by our beloved Monarch into a five-minute musical creation was not an easy task.
The story of how this project evolved and came to claim the top two spots on the iTunes charts, is nothing more than a story of dedication and perseverance from the man we know as Thomas Mace-Archer-Mills.
